Gloucester and Langley Kennel Clubs To Host The Virginia Memorial Day Cluster All-Breed Dog Show May 23-26, 2008 at the Hampton Roads Convention Center--Event including conformation, obedience trials, rally, dog related health clinics, expected to draw over 4,000 spectators--
On May 23-26, 2008, the Hampton Roads Convention Center will welcome over 2,000 canine friends to The Virginia Memorial Day Cluster. Hosted by the Gloucester and Langley Kennel Clubs, in conjunction with the Merrimac Dog Training Club, this highly anticipated annual event is expecting to draw over 4,000 spectators within a four day period, utilizing all three of the convention center’s exhibit halls (108,000 square-feet total!).

On May 9, 2008, The Hampton Roads Convention Center in Hampton, Virginia will host an opening reception for Walls of Art, featuring the work of over 20 regional artists. The invitation only event, beginning at 6:00 p.m., will celebrate the artists who were chosen to be the first to display their art at the facility.

On February 2, 2008 cheerleading competitors from across the state with gather at the Hampton Roads Convention Center for the Hampton Unlimited Championship. Produced by Spirit Unlimited, one of the top cheerleading organizations in the country, the Hampton competition is expected to draw over 300 participants.
